Thin Vent

A unique approach to designing recreational vests in which the back panel is made of a super thin foam, allowing the paddler to fully recline in the tallest of seats. A thin mesh strip along the spine helps keep you cool on the hottest days.

PVC Free

Every product in our line is completely free of toxic PVC. We reuse as many scraps as possible, recycle everything, and compost our coffee beans.

  • Beyond Comfortable

    September 06, 2016

When a paddler can forget they are wearing a PFD and jump in the truck while wearing it you know it is comfortable! Yes this has happened, and it has happened more than once! The Ronny Fishers Thin Vent back is great for high back seats for 2 reasons, 1. it will not "ride up" and push on your neck and 2. the vent allows air movement on hot days. the arm holes are large enough for full range of motion for paddling, fly fishing, whatever the need. i like the fact that the pockets are big enough to hold some serious gear but don't stick off the front so far to impede getting back in the kayak on a deep water reentry ( particularly tough for us big ol boys) . a touch of reflective stuff makes it good to be seen on the water while the camo can keep me hidden if i need to. more so for wildlife photography than for duck hunting but i will chase critters just about any way. i gotta admit i thought the bottle holder was a bit hokey but when i am wading away from the boat or just taking a quick on water lunch break it really does keep a drink handy, secured and out of the way. All said, i am very pleased with this vest and would gladly get another. matter of fact i am probably going to order a spruce one for those days when i don't "need" to be camouflaged!

  • A year in the Ronny Fisher

    September 06, 2016

As the President and Founder of the North Carolina kayak fishing association I am very fortunate that I get to try a lot of different products out. Some are really good and some are not but there are some that really stand out and the Ronny Fisher one of the best. I love the large pockets, flat back and comfortable feel you get while wearing it. The hood is also great for those cold or rainy days and since I often am in the Ocean I love the fact that should I ever needed to be found in the darkness the reflective strip on the hood as well as other parts of the Ronny Fisher make that my easier. If you are an angler you owe it to yourself to try out the Ronny Fisher.
