Agro Grip Outsole

Aggressive 4mm central lugs bite into loose dirt and mud. Perimeter lugs with greater surface area for gripping smooth surfaces. All lugs beveled to help prevent accumulation of mud, snow, dog poo.

Balanced Geometry

We believe that a foot’s position in a shoe should be similar to when barefoot. This allows excellent balance and biomechanically natural lifestyle.

Foot-beds are essentially level (only 1mm drop from heel to toe ) and provide medium arch support.  Tapered instep and heel area for better foothold and control. Wide forefoot allows your feet and toes to spread out for stability.

G15

This G compound is formulated for premium grip while also providing "excellent" abrasion resistance. Its low durometer means the rubber is softer and therefore conforms well to the ground.

  • Best Travel Shoe

    May 16, 2018

My Tinker-Hemp Astral shoes fit my feet and were comfortable from the day I bought them two years ago. I've worn these shoes many miles on mountain trails and city streets, including hiking in Italy and Africa. The soles seem more flexible and grip well on all types of terrain, uphill and down, on loose gravel and rock, lava at Mt. Etna and even slippery mountain jungle bushwhacking to visit the gorillas in Rwanda. My other tennis shoes and hiking boots may slip on some terrains, but these shoes hold firm on the downhills. Absolutely my favorite travel and around town shoe.

Love em! Great, good-looking everyday shoe that's super comfortable and classy, but not afraid to get dirty and play outside.

You can actually feel the extra grip of the soles. Roomy toebox and very comfortable and supportive footbed.
