Thin Vent

A unique approach to designing recreational jackets in which the back panel is made of a super thin foam, allowing the paddler to fully recline in the tallest of seats. A thin mesh strip along the spine helps keep you cool on the hottest days.

  • Boundary Waters Canoe Trip

    Bought two Ronny life-vests for a canoe/hiking trip in the Boundary Waters (Northern Minnesota). We concentrate on light weight, the Ronny was perfect. Didn't even notice it while paddling. We went in June, the vest was not hot. The vents worked well. The pockets were perfect for maps, fishing lures and our Go-Pro camera. Liked it so much I bought another one for this years Boundary Waters trip.

    We believe these are some of the best PFDs for high back seats as the thin back allows all paddlers to comfortably rest against the seat back without being shoved forward. The Ronny and Linda are very comfortable and highly adjustable to accommodate Summer paddling and Winter padding with layers.

    Easy on and off; lightweight and easily adjustable; just enough pockets in all the right places;

  • Ronny PFD review

    The Ronny is a great design and works wonderfully for kayaking. It allows for unhindered arm movements while paddling. However, it does have one glaring deficiency. The snap button on the flap pocket is of very poor quality. My button snapped in half after only three trips and unsnapping it maybe twenty times.
