2017 Schedule

This Spring Astral will embark on the 'Shoe The People' tour.  Behind the wheel of our Ford Transit, you will find Astral Road Warrior Gabe Latini, his mission will be to help Nature lovers discover Astral Footwear; shoes inspired by the mountains and streams of our native homeland. Our journey will begin in our home base of Asheville, NC with select stops at music festivals and outdoor events across the East Coast. 

Here's a list of our current tour dates: 

  • French Broad River Festival
    May 5-7, 2017 - Hot Springs NC
    This festival is a benefit for American Whitewater, The Mountain Area Child & Family Center and Hot Springs Community Learning Center, is located just 35 minutes north of Asheville at the beautiful Hot Springs Campground and Spa. Come spend the weekend with family and friends listening to great regional and national recording artists. Enjoy shopping for new outdoor gear at the Live Auction or with one of our many art and craft vendors. Try participating in the "Paddle with the Pros", the Annual FBRF Mountain Bike Race, or the Annual French Broad River Raft Race. Come on out for a weekend of fun, family, art, music and adventure. read more »

  • Trail Days
    May 19-21, 2017 - Damascus VA
    Trail Days is a multi-day festival attracting 4000 hikers and about 15,000 other visitors to Damascus, VA each year. The event offers hiker workshops, hiker services, food, hiking gear vendors and entertainment. read more »

  • Mountain Sports Festival
    May 26-28, 2017 - Asheville NC
    The free festival showcases the terrain, environment and unique culture of Asheville, NC and the surrounding mountains. The Mountain Sports Festival is organized by a volunteer group of community oriented citizens dedicated to the presenting of a well balanced series of events that encourages participation on all levels. read more »

  • Gauley Fest
    September 14-17, 2017 - Summersville, WV
    The festival is a showcase for American Whitewater and the top whitewater vendors in the boating community. The festival will feature live entertainment, a whitewater marketplace, raffle, and a silent auction where you can pick up some awesome outdoor gear. Come out and join us for a weekend of great paddling, exciting camaraderie, live entertainment, killer boat raffles, and the infamous silent auction.

    All proceeds from the festival support American Whitewater's river conservation and access works throughout the nation. Started in 1983 to celebrate the derailment of a hydro-electric project that would have disrupted the flows on the Gauley River, Gauley Fest has grown to become the largest paddling festival in the world. read more »
